In 1962, Parke Josephson began his career in insurance with Prudential Life Insurance in Eastern Idaho, specializing in Life and Health Insurance. Two decades later, his son, Darren, joined the business, bringing a new vision. Darren expanded the firm's offerings, earning securities registrations and insurance certifications across multiple states, continuing to build on the strong foundation laid by his father.

In 2020, Darren retired, passing the torch to his son-in-law, Matt Porter, who now leads the family-owned business. Matt, continuing the tradition, holds multiple securities registrations, insurance licenses across several states, and professional designations like Certified Financial Planner® and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.

With over 50 years of growth, Cornerstone Financial Advisors has expanded its reach beyond Idaho, serving clients in neighboring states. As the firm enters its third generation of ownership, it remains dedicated to providing holistic financial solutions and fostering lasting client relationships.
